Introduction
Emissary release tournament! I deliberately held off on having this until after the holidays. I"m stoked that we sanctioned (thanks to the 2E regulars who are coming to these events)! I learned a LOT from these games and I'll be improving upon this deck (I feel it has potential but has flaws). Lesson 1: If possible, never bring a deck you've never played to a tournament. Lesson 2: Don't go easy on players Lesson 3: Always be nice to newer players (especially ones that don't play 1E much if ever).

Round 1KlingonEric BiecheML (-30)
Eric asked to borrow an easy to play deck, so I gave him a Klingon CM Two-Mission win deck with shenanigans to bridge the gap. He appears to have gone for three mission winning in an attempt to keep it easy and I don't blame him. He seeded his outpost right next to my Terok Nor which meant that it was commandeering time once he felt confident that he could pull it off (I had to walk him through it which is OK. I just wanted to make sure he knew what he could do strategically). He also hung out at the Celestial Temple with Weapons >9 which nerfed Borad's drawing goodnesses. I was having fun getting some draws from the Guardian of Forever and Borad for some time though (and using the time location for some questionably useful traveling). Ran out of time though and Eric scored one more mission than me.

Round 2FederationBrian LeonardFL (-25)View opponent's Report
Brian played with my 30 card CM FCitF deck. It is fast and reliable but low on physics. None the less, Brian had the right skills at the right time and rode a Nexus to a game win.

Round 3BorgMichael MoskopFW (+43)View opponent's Report
Michael's Borg could have taken the game but all the moving parts caused him to not put out a TNG when he solved Establish Gateway. He could have used that to come back from a cytherians and win the game. I managed to solve three missions just before he was going to assimilate species of Cardassian.

Closing Thoughts
The deck is slow to start. It is vulnerable to getting commandeered and is vulnerable to very fast decks. I may need better dilemmas or simply drop the guardian of forever and stick to handshake. It's fun to travel from Terok Nor to The celestial temple and then to Gateway through the GoF but it takes several turns. So it's a fun deck but not competitive.
