You Can't Keep a Good Scientist Down V 1.1.2a |
Introduction |
I felt like garbage all day but not because of the tournament; I really don't know why I felt so horrid. If I was a jerk to you this day that's why. Sorry!
Brought my favorite deck because I'm really used to playing it. |
|
Round 1 | | Keith Rupp | FL (-40) |
This is a terrible matchup because I cannot easily do 4 missions with this deck. My only hope is to solve 3 before you solve 2. That didn't happen (I had a very bad opening hand). |

Round 2 | | Zlatan Terzic | FW (+95) |
Fun game. Not really remembering much from this one. |

Round 3 | | Casey Wickum | MW (+5)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Oh Casey. I got super super lucky pulling off a Gomtuu against him. That got me into a good spot. I did have to hit 3 infitine diverities and 2 rapid progress's though. No medical and no geology. |
I carried over my bad decision making in my game with Corbin, I know his style well enough to know that he prefers attrition over death, even so I decided to load up on the Sao Paolo while he was working on his first mission. I know that my dilemmas can hold him off for a looong while, so I really should have just started blitzing from the start, His insurrection that popped up at Investigate Destruction would probably be the key that stalled me out. I did miscount dilemmas on my final turn which gave him 3 extra to spend giving him 5 instead of 2. and he got a triple stop which forced me from dual attempting Baku Planet to a single attempt and got stopped. |

Round 4 | | John Paul Veasey | FL (-30) |
I don't recall much from this game. |
|
|
Round 5 | | Maggie Geppert | FW (+60) |
We had this match at the Gaming Goat the weekend previous. I think Maggie was going to win next turn. |
