I Told You His Way... He Won't Take You Far |
Introduction |
Stole this deck because I haven't played KCA before and wanted to try something different. |
|
Round 1 | | Michael Van Breemen | FL (-100) |
Got stomped by EE Feds. Stumbled on some dilemmas, got stopped by Faux Pas not knowing how to use The Art of Diplomacy properly. Getting The Intendant killed early hurt me as I needed her for extra free reports. I didn't even try to get through the wormhole for battle and in any case the game was over fast. |

Round 2 | | Jon Carter | FL (-75)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Another game against a speed solver that I was too slow to interact with. Struggled to get what I needed to get a good sized fleet through the wormhole and couldn't score points myself with limited skills on the ground. |
Deck just went fast! |
|
Round 3 | | Bruce Parrish | FW (+10) |
I think this game I was more in tune with the deck and got the right skills out not risking my best personnel. I think it was more that Bruce gave me more time to win as he was stumbling over some of my dilemmas than the deck working well. |

Closing Thoughts |
Interesting strategy. Heaps of skill gaps which doesn't help in the current climate of increasing dilemma power level. If you can't get the skills to get through the wormhole and start fighting early you're dead to fast speed solvers. |
