Introduction |
MaceWest in 2011 was a great time to play some old school Trek. |
|
Round 1 | | Nathan Miracle | FW (+95) |
Nathan is not a huge fan of 1E, but he was a good sport and gave it his best anyway. He built a deck with 22nd century cards and lots of the virtual stuff using Starfleet, Klingons and Romulans from the 22nd Century. My saving grace in this game was that Romulans cannot initiate combat against other Romulans without a special card. And he lacked that card. |

Round 2 | | Will Hawkins | FW (+100) |
Hawk played an interest Bajoran HQ deck I had thrown together for him using some Homefront cards, virtual cards and some 2E backwards compatible cards. He got a lot of free plays but my dilemmas were able to stop him. |

|
Round 3 | | Charles Miller | FW (+50) |
Charlie is just getting into 1E at this point, but he had a great TNG Movies era deck with lots of Enterprise-E personnel. He made good use of Federation Flagship cards and the newer Riker who is matching commander of the Enterprise-E. Combined with Make It So he had a solid strategy, but I was able to play faster thanks to my Romulan ways. |

Closing Thoughts |
A great tournament for MaceWest. |
