Introduction |
I decided to bring along an old favorite, "ES9 Dream Team" sadly I wasn't really set up to go up against mass kill so that hurt me somewhat. |

Round 1 | | Dan Hamman | FW (+30)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
This was a close game that I won by the skin of my teeth. He got out faster than me but I was able to one drop him a few times to keep the pace even. I got through IMA fast, first try I think...and moved on to TCS. He hit me with a perfectly set up WNMHGB and then sadly the next try I miss counted my skills and came up with a measly 15 and that was if I used Melora to get Ross's intel and treachery. NOOO. He killed my Bashir so I was able to get his Rebel captain. Lucky me because Ezri came over to my side two, which I later found out were his two medical for his back up mission. I was able to power through my last mission pretty fast but I'm pretty sure if he had one more turn he would have won. |
I didn't get much of a jumpstart against Joel, and he finished all of his missions to my one. He managed to capture or kill all of my Medical(and Ezri changed sides), so by the end I was treading water trying to recur personnel and hope my dilemmas held up. They didn't. |

Round 2 | | Joshua Sheets | FL (-35)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
This was a bloodbath. All of my people died, at one point I was down too 3. Lucky for me they were flying a runabout so I could still staff it. I was able to rebuild fast thanks to the deck but I should have stacked a couple of tacking's to recycle my people, that was a mistake not to have them. It was a close game but he got me with his mass kill. Good game. |
Joel drops Prom.School and Inyo about turn 2 so he has a crazy crew building up very fast. He goes planet first and I take out Bashir, Ezri and several others and still dont stop the attempt. He scores that early and on his next turn plays another Inyo (one of last turns casualties) and starts getting another great crew out. He goes to space and I kill about the same amount of people and the mission has a slightly higher requirement so he doesnt get it first time. I K&E thru AR but I cant go start fights at Mediate. So I start banging away at PI. That gets me stopped a few times. Joel gets a rebuilt crew out and solves Mediate. He holding Cells one of his people back (Weyoun) and starts his last planet. I stop him and on my turn go over to Reborn someone completely forgetting about Holding Cell. Loss of 5 points later, I head back to PI and finally get thru, but Im out of range thanks to my little detour. Joel gets another turn at solving his mission for the win. He is just short on the mission and I finish out with Will of the Collective for the Win. |

Round 3 | | Ross Fertel | FW (+100)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
This was a quick game, Ross had a great dilemma strategy but I was able to get by it with BOT. He got all his events and all of his people got stuck at the bottom of his deck so I was way ahead of him. Great Dilemma play though!! |
DS9 Speed decks aren't fun to play against either. I didn't even get Guinan pity points. |

Closing Thoughts |
I like this deck but I needs a few tweeks, add some tackings and switch the defiant for a second runabout. |
