Introduction |
We had 8 players in this Nationals Weekend Second Edition Sealed Premiere event, so that meant that there would be 2 of each starter handed out. I really didn't want Romulan or Klingon, as I have play 10 for each (and win for both). The only available affiliation that I had not won with yet was TNG. Good news is I got that and won with it for the achievement.

Round 1 | | Justin Ford | FW (+70) |
My first round was vs. Justin, who has been improving at 2E by leaps and bounds. Although he had Klingons, this game was pretty evenly matched at the first, with each of us going out to a mission on turn 3 and holding the other there for 3 attempts before both solving our first mission. The real change came when we went to our second missions. I went to a 35 pointer, as I had just solved a 30 pointer. Justin went out to a second 30 pointer. I considered correcting his mistake by a little voice in my head said 'shut up fool, you just won!' |

Round 2 | | Roxanne Barbour | FW (+65) |
I was glad to get paired against Roxanne in the second round, which was exactly what I wanted as Roxanne is great to play against, but I had yet to face her all weekend. This game was again even and came down to one real game shifting play. Roxanne had thrown an amazing combo with a dilemma that could stop my only Telepathy in play and knowing that I had played no Anthro at all, she followed this with a dilemma which stops everyone and bounces if you have no Anthro or Telepathy to be stopped (Antedian). I felt bad because this was such an awesome play and an absolute perfect dilemma combo, but I had Mission Debriefing in hand and simply had to give Telepathy to some other dude not needed to solve the mission from the stopped Daniel Kwan and cheat through the mission. After that we continued at the same pace as before, with me finishing first. |

Round 3 | | Kenneth Tufts | FW (+30)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Actually perhaps the least close of my games, Ken was undefeated just like me and had a great deck, but he drew horribly (and I killed his Worf very early - which should technically make Ken a Zombie) and also got ahold of both Mission Debriefings to cheat two missions. Ken did one attempt and complete his first space, so there was a chance that he could have one attempted the last mission if he had one more turn. |
J went first and dropped some GREAT TNG named guys right off the bat, I was behind from day one, I got a few lucky random stops to stall him a bit BUT, he also brick walled me at my planet and i was not drawing my mission skills for my spaces well at all. It was semi close at the end, But i needed to stop him attempt at his 3rd mission and then get a GOD attempt to clear my last mission in a single turn, neither happened and he took the win and the tournament. |

Closing Thoughts |
Pretty stoked to get the TNG Victor Achievement. Just 5 more victor achievements specific to 2E to rack down. |
