J (The Mad Vulcan) Tournament Report - Tr 2014-06-21 - 09:00 PM The Third Well on the Left Introduction This was a real fun tournament, Tribbles always is - but I think that these four players made a good group to just joke around with and have a fun time. So exceptionally fun game of Tribbles. Round 1 () Richard went out first, and it looked as though the experienced player would just trounce the three relative newbs. Round 2 () In Round 2, I started scoring pretty well off Nick's deck and I stuck to him with my poisons pretty well while also getting occasional Toxin points off Rob or Richard. I went out this time and that put me in a slight lead over Richard, with everyone else still having relatively low scores. Round 3 () I seem to recall this being a quick round with me going out for little (or maybe someone else went out for little. So the bonus points made the most difference, with Richard not going up at all, me increasing my lead and everyone else getting on the board. Round 4 () This round Nick went out, and that put him right over Richard and into second place. I continued to milk bonus points with Toxin and Poison (mostly) which furthered my lead. It looked like I could be getting some victor achievements at this point. Round 5 () But Nick went out again in Round 5, this was a good result since he and I had really been playing off each other (and helped each other make the final table) both with quick wit and cards (I poisoned his Tallys). Rob was doing well here and I was hoping to help him go out both because it would be good for him and because it would cement my win, but Nick going out put him just above me. Closing Thoughts Very fun game which led into a very fun final with Kurtis, Me, and Nick making Ken rather miserable. But all still having a good time.
