Bajoran Resistance revisits DS9 |
Introduction |
I use the deck I played at last Worlds. |
|
Round 1 | | Kevin Jaeger | FL (-25) |
Opening hand is clutter with mostly interrupts and events and almost no peeps. It takes a long time to draw and play peeps though I wouldn't leave my HQ against Kevin's Borg assimilators. I get 50 JLOT points, Kevin get 20-25 One With The Borg points. This allows each of us a 2 mission win. I attempt my second mission and hit Gomtuu. I download an interrupt to get the win, but Kevin nerfs it. I didn't have Paenol to stop his Unrelenting. He completes his mission next turn with an assimilated peep I forgot he had. FL 75-100 |

Round 2 | | Matthew Hayes | FW (+60) |
Going against a mostly NA deck. My JLOT's get destroyed during the game, so I have to do 3 missions instead of 2. With time run out I attempt my last mission with 2 away teams. The first gets stopped, the second gets through with the help of Covenant for the win. FW 100-40 |
|
|
Round 3 | | Justin Ford | FW (+25) |
In this game my JLOT's get destroyed again forcing me to do 3 missions instead of 2 (Again). I get Paenol out, but he immediately gets put in a Holding Cell stopping me from nerfing his interrupts and preventing me to play mine. This helps him to complete 2 missions with interrupts without Paenol's interference. I destroy the Holding Cell and then try my 3rd mission for the win. I encounter Necessary Encounter killing Krim (My General). Next is Dignitaries and Witnesses. I use two Covenants to get 2 more Leadership to pass and get the win. FW 100-75 |

Closing Thoughts |
Not having Paenol in games 1 and 3 were instrumental in the outcomes of both games. Having him would've made my opponents games much more difficult. |
